No Junk Mail Please!
This tip is obviously not for the United States where you get your fingers cut of if you put something in a mailbox (and you’re not the postman).
In many other places in the world just about anyone can put whatever they want in other peoples mailboxes. This inspires a legion of junk mail companies to fill your maibox with every conceivable offer for stuff you don’t want to buy anyway. It also quickly causes mailbox overflow if you’re gone for a couple of days.
The solution: put a “No Junk Mail!” sticker on you mailbox and then have your dog entertain anyone getting close to opening the lid or sticking something in (except the postman, of cource
