Common Nigerian Scam Letters

This is a collection of different scam emails that we have actually received and continue to receive all the time. Almost all originate in (want the goods sent to) Lagos, Nigeria and usually they intend to pay with a stolen or bad credit card.

If I accidently left an email address unmasked don't try to contact these people! They are criminals and can be dangerous if they get to know who you are!

The names in the emails are either made up or used without permission by the scammers. THE PERSONS NAMED IN THE EMAILS HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THESE LETTERS! They are used as bait by the scammers.

I thought I would compile a list of all the names the scammers use when sending the mails, and why not also the names of the dead persons that have left money behind. This way if you have received a suspicious letter you can see if you find the senders name here.

Of cource sometimes the scammers use names of real persons that have noting to do with the scammers. If you know one of these persons from the news or even in person you can be quite sure they are a victim of impersonation and not scammers themselves.
